As the Principal of Ridge Valley School, Gurugram, it is my pleasure to welcome you to our School. You will discover kaleidoscopic vignettes of a wealth of experiences we offer to the Ridgeans through curricular and co-curricular activities. We are committed to provide quality education to our students to make them progressive global citizens.
Positive vibes and the buzz that resonate omni presently and make the ambience vibrant can be attributed to the Ridgean ethos. Inside the classrooms, enterprise, creativity and independent thoughts are greatly valued and students work harmoniously in a culture of mutual respect and inclusivity. In the spaces outside of the classrooms, as the students explore and hone their multiple intelligences, they are allowed to follow natural instincts, discover areas of interest and compete with themselves as much as with the outside world. An amalgam of sensitivity, empathy and meaningful inclusion where neuro diversity is a way of being and the neurotypical accept and acknowledge that is how I would define Ridge Valley.
Stereotypical pedagogy does not shackle us. Learning, therefore, is collaborative, experiential and child centered. Each Ridgean is, to us, an individual and deserves, within the classrooms, a learning graph aligned to his/ her aptitudes, interests and skill profile. This belief also determines the activity for the Carpe Diem hour. It enriches and empowers the learner further and is the platform for the inculcation of life long interests, hobbies and vocations. Excellence as an attitude and a way of life is a natural outcome of the balance between academic rigor within the classrooms where our students are the torch bearers of knowledge and the genesis of painters, sculptors, musicians, dancers and sportspersons with the potential to change the landscapes within the chosen co-curricular arenas.
